A few quick answers for first-time customers.
By default, if an item is unavailable, we refund it. I will however text you before checking out and you can always choose a substitution or skip it.
If you text or use the form, I review your order first and send your total before shopping. You can pay by invoice/card, Venmo, PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay. Website orders can be paid online at checkout.
Ridgeway Select serves Lynchburg, Rustburg, Bedford, Amherst, and nearby areas. Text if you’re unsure whether your address is included.
Delivery timing is confirmed after orders are collected for the next scheduled run.
Website prices are about 10% higher than in-store prices. This helps cover shopping time, catalog upkeep, and handling. Delivery is charged separately.
For text or form orders, I review your list and send an estimated total before shopping. Final pricing is based on the store receipt plus a small shopping service fee and delivery fee. You’ll always approve the total before I shop.
Ridgeway Select is a personal shopping and delivery service. This fee covers the time to drive to out-of-town stores, shop your order, handle substitutions, organize items, and deliver to your door. Catalog prices also include a small service markup (~10%). Delivery and shopping fees are always shown at checkout before you pay.
Ridgeway Select is an independent local delivery service and is not affiliated with Trader Joe’s. Inventory is not live, so unavailable items are refunded or substituted based on your preference.
