Ridgeway Select provides a personal shopping and local delivery service. Please review this Shipping & Delivery Policy carefully to understand how deliveries are scheduled and completed.
1. Delivery Area
Ridgeway Select currently delivers within the Lynchburg, Virginia area. Additional nearby localities may be included depending on service type or tier selection, including but not limited to:
Forest, Madison Heights, Amherst, Altavista, Rustburg, Bedford, and Big Island.
Delivery availability may vary based on location, accessibility, and operational capacity. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders outside our service area.
2. Delivery Schedule
- Subscription services include one delivery per billing cycle, unless otherwise stated
- On-demand shopping deliveries are scheduled individually after purchase
- Delivery dates may vary and are not guaranteed
- Customers will be notified when their delivery window is approaching
Exact delivery dates and times are estimates and may change due to logistics, weather, or availability.
3. Delivery Method
Deliveries are completed via local drop-off to the address provided at checkout.
- Items are typically delivered to a front porch, doorstep, or designated safe location
- No signature is required unless explicitly stated
- Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible and safe
4. Delivery Fees & Shipping Rates
Delivery costs are included in the service fee paid at checkout unless otherwise specified.
Additional service fees may apply for expanded requests (such as multiple store visits or special accommodations) and will be disclosed before the service is performed.
Shipping is calculated based on your order total:
- $0 – $49.99: $15
- $50 – $74.99: $25
- $75 – $99.99: $35
- $100 – $149.99: $45
- $150+: $55
All shipping costs are shown at checkout before purchase.
5. Missed or Failed Deliveries
Ridgeway Select is not responsible for delivery issues resulting from:
- Incorrect or incomplete address information
- Inaccessible delivery locations
- Gated or restricted access without proper instructions
- Failure to retrieve delivered items in a timely manner
If a delivery cannot be completed due to these reasons, refunds will not be issued. Re-delivery may be offered at our discretion.
6. Responsibility After Delivery
Once an order has been delivered to the designated address, responsibility for the items transfers to the customer.
Ridgeway Select is not responsible for:
- Theft after delivery
- Weather-related damage after delivery
- Damage caused by pets, pests, or third parties
Customers are encouraged to retrieve deliveries promptly.
7. Perishable & Temperature-Sensitive Items
Refrigerated, fresh, and frozen items may be included when logistics allow, depending on store grouping, timing, and delivery conditions.
Items are transported using insulated containers and ice packs when applicable; however, temperature integrity is not guaranteed.
All items are delivered sealed as provided by the retailer. Customers are responsible for promptly retrieving and properly storing items upon delivery.
Ridgeway Select is not responsible for spoilage, melting, temperature variation, or quality degradation after delivery.
8. Address Changes
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery address is accurate and up to date.
Address changes must be submitted before the applicable order cutoff. Changes submitted after this time may not apply to the upcoming delivery.
9. Shipping Outside the Delivery Area
Ridgeway Select does not ship orders via mail or courier services outside the local delivery area.
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
