By purchasing or subscribing to Ridgeway Select, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Nature of the Service
Ridgeway Select is a personal shopping and delivery service offering:
- Mystery delivery tiers (subscription-based or one-time), and
- On-demand shopping services (custom requests, priced individually)
Mystery delivery tiers provide surprise packages curated by Ridgeway Select based on general preferences, tier selection, and availability.
On-demand shopping allows customers to request specific items or stores, subject to availability and custom pricing.
Ridgeway Select is not a traditional retailer and does not sell grocery items directly. Items are purchased from third-party retailers as part of a shopping service.
2. Curated Mystery Experience
Mystery deliveries are intended to be a surprise experience. Exact contents are not disclosed in advance and may vary based on availability, season, tier, and discretion of Ridgeway Select.
Because of the curated nature of the service:
- Exact items are not guaranteed
- Substitutions may be made at any time
- Perceived value may vary between deliveries
Tier selection determines the overall scope of the delivery but does not guarantee specific products, brands, quantities, or retail value.
3. On-Demand Shopping
On-demand shopping requests are handled separately from mystery delivery tiers.
- Customers submit an item list and select a store for a shopping run
- A flat service fee is paid at checkout to schedule the shopping run
- Items are purchased from third-party retailers on the customer’s behalf
- After the purchase, Ridgeway Select provides the store receipt and the customer reimburses the store total
- Availability is not guaranteed and substitutions may be required based on store stock
Additional stores, special requests, or expanded service may require an additional service fee (when applicable).
Ridgeway Select reserves the right to decline or modify any on-demand request at its discretion.
4. Website Orders
Orders placed directly through the Ridgeway Select website are processed as a full-service shopping and delivery offering.
By placing an order through the website:
- Product prices may differ from in-store prices to account for sourcing, service, and operational costs
- The total charged at checkout includes product cost and service margin
- A separate delivery fee may apply depending on the order
- Items are still subject to availability at the time of purchase
- Substitutions or refunds may be issued if items are unavailable
Ridgeway Select fulfills all website orders by purchasing items from third-party retailers on the customer’s behalf. We are not affiliated with said third-party retailers.
5. Receipts & Pricing Transparency
For mystery delivery tiers, Ridgeway Select provides an all-inclusive service. Store receipts and itemized pricing are not provided and may not be requested.
For on-demand shopping services, a store receipt may be provided to document the cost of items purchased on the customer’s behalf. Service fees remain separate and non-refundable.
6. Allergies & Dietary Responsibility
Ridgeway Select does not guarantee that any product is free from allergens.
All items are delivered in their original, sealed retail packaging. Ridgeway Select does not prepare, handle, alter, or repackage any food products.
For convenience, our website may offer filters or labels related to dietary preferences (including, but not limited to, allergen-free, gluten-free, vegan, etc.). These filters are provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. Ridgeway Select does not guarantee the accuracy of this information.
Customers are solely responsible for reviewing product labels, ingredient lists, and allergen warnings prior to consumption.
Ridgeway Select shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions, health issues, or damages resulting from the consumption of delivered products.
Customers with severe allergies or medical dietary restrictions are advised to exercise extreme caution when placing orders.
7. Refrigerated & Frozen Items
Ridgeway Select may transport refrigerated and frozen items using insulated containers and ice packs when logistics allow.
Due to factors outside our control (time, weather, store handling, delivery conditions):
- Temperature integrity is not guaranteed
- Frozen items may partially thaw
- Refrigerated items may experience temperature variation
Customers assume responsibility for proper handling and storage immediately upon delivery.
Ridgeway Select is not responsible for spoilage, thawing, or quality degradation of temperature-sensitive items.
8. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations
Due to the nature of the service:
- All service fees are final
- No refunds are issued based on taste, preference, dissatisfaction, or perceived value
- No refunds for unavailable items or substitutions
Refunds are issued only if a delivery is not completed.
If Ridgeway Select determines that an issue was caused by us (such as significant damage during handling or a confirmed service error), we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund, service credit, or future replacement. Such resolutions are determined case-by-case and do not constitute an obligation for future refunds.
Subscriptions may be canceled at any time before the next billing cycle to avoid future charges.
9. Delivery Terms
- Deliveries are made within a scheduled delivery window
- Exact delivery times are not guaranteed
- Responsibility for items transfers to the customer upon delivery
Ridgeway Select is not responsible for spoilage, damage, or loss after delivery.
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe access to the delivery location and promptly retrieving deliveries.
10. Availability & Substitutions
Product availability varies by store and season. Ridgeway Select reserves the right to:
- Substitute items
- Substitute stores when necessary
- Limit quantities
- Decline requests
11. Personal Use Only
Services are intended for personal use only and may not be resold or used for commercial purposes.
12. Right to Refuse Service
Ridgeway Select reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to limit subscriptions, cancel orders, or refuse service.
13. Pricing & Changes
Pricing, tiers, offerings, schedules, and policies may change with notice. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
14. Limitation of Liability
Ridgeway Select is not liable for:
- Allergic reactions
- Adverse food reactions
- Spoilage after delivery
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the applicable service.
